Let's Get Craft Episode # 6: Diamond Favour Box

\

Since I have a Cricut Baby Bug, and on the fence about buying a cricut expression. I am always on the look out and thinkng abot how I can avoid the expensive upgrade along with the Tags, Boxes, and More cartriage. In this tutorial, I will show you what you can do to creat a favour box using your printer and online templates, and then turn the box into an adorable favour using clear stamps and your cricut.

Various Card Creations

I can't believe how time flies in a week. I thought after the busy year of wedding planning this year would go much slower. But, that doesn't seem to be the case. However, I do like to keep myself busy as a bee. I have been quite busy at work mentoring a student teacher. There is a perception that it makes it easier for the classroom teacher, but this is so not the case if you want to make sure the students in the classroom's learning isn't jeopardized.

I felt much better after Tuesday night once I handed in my first assignment this past week for my coursework. I have another assignment due on Tuesday plus three readings to do this weekend. But, I think I will be able to manage it no problem as Andrei is working nights this weekend, and sleeping during the day. So, I am hoping to get my homework done while he is resting. The rainy weather will keep me inside.

I am looking forward to a Girls Crafty Night tomorrow night. I am hosting a card party with a small group of friends. We are going to make one Valentine Card and Two Birthday Cards. I will post some details from the evening tomorrow night! It should be a fun time.

In the process of cleaning up my scraproom tonight to prepare for the party. I scrapped my way to a clean desk. Here are the various cards I made tonight. I hope you like them! I am hoping to create a Let's Get Crafty Video this weekend also, but I am not sure what to the tutorial on. So, I am just working out the creative details now. So keep posted for the next video.

Balloon Bella Valentine Cards

I have been meaning to post a picture of these Valentines cards much sooner than I did. But, life has a funny way of getting busy. So, I didn't have the time that I thought I would to post. These three cards I made for my co-workers. The two secretaries at the office and the SEA that works in my classroom. They wre fun to make. The patterned paper was just scraps from my scrap drawer. I used Glossy Acccents to make the dresshave a bit of depth. I coloured the bella with regular crayola pencil crayons. The Happy Valentines Day stamp was stamped with black cherry Staz-On Ink. The ribbon was sheer ribbon on discount at Micheals. They are so girly, but I love them.

Let's Get Crafty Episode #4 : Stampendous Valentie Clear Pail

This past week I had a little surprise after my class on Tuesday night. I developed food poisoning from my Sushi dinner that I had. I always look forward to dinner out on the nigt of my class. It is a convience factor because it is too difficult to bring two meals. However, this meal was memorable for all the wrong reasons, so unfortunately, this video was completed later than I wanted to this week. But, better late than never.

Andrei and I had an enjoyable weekend. We went out for a date night on Friday night. We had dinner out at Boston Pizza. It was a good evening, as we haven't had a date night in a while. I woke up to early morning to sunshine, and went down to the livingroom to do my homework in the early morning sunshine. It was absolutely wonderful. Then we had some friends over for dinner last night. It was a very enjoyable weekend.

Paisley and Sweet Heart Cricut Cartriage Valentine Projects

I enjoy making little projects to surprise co-workers and special friends. So, here are the adorable little pink pails decorated for Valentines Day. There are so many other possibilities to decorate these pails, but this one works definitely for me when thinking about the theme of Valentines day.

These pails were purchased from Dollerama. There are three in a package for a dollar. Then I just used my cartridge Sweet Treats to make the tags and Sweethearts to make the cupid, and this is what I came up with. I think I will fill them with Hershey Kisses.

The card was made using the Paisley cartridge and Sweethearts. It is a variation of the card that I made last week for Valentines day. But, a fun card as well.

Satisfiying Saturday...

Today I was able to get out of the house for a little bit to escape the rainy blues. Julie and I decided to hang out together. However, got a surprise phone call from my Uncle Dinno to come out this way. So, we went out for lunch. We splurged on a Costco Hot dog, coke, and fries. (LOL!) It was fun. Picked up a few groceries, and then went to Micheals for a peruse around. I went past the 1.50 spot, and my eye spotted these adorable studio g stamps. I can never resist these cuties. Especially since the theme is butterfly and birds. I pick my 9 favourites from the series, as they fit beautifully in those baseball card holders, as you can check out in my scrap video. I am planning some projects to work on these very shortly. Stay tuned! Also got to play a little bit in my scraproom. I will post some projects a little later!

I cam't believe how many hits I have received on this card tutorial and I haven't told anyone about it until now. I am looking forward to making these in the upcoming year. However, my time will be tight once I go back to work and school. But, I am going to try to do one of these a week. We will see if I can manage that.

Busy Creating...Cup Cake Cards
