Phew...I survived but just barely

Well, thank goodness that it is the weekend. I thought that it was never going to come after the week I had. It all started last Thursday night when Andrei phoned me from the Emergency Room in Langley saying that he had broken his nose. Yikes that was upsetting. I had my major project due on Tuesday, and all I wanted to do was be with him to take care of him. But, I had to get my project completed. The good news is that I was able to complete the project, although I thought that it was never going to happen.

However, in the mean time I have developed a really bad chest cold. I have a really bad cought that has affected my voice. I took time on Tuesday to recover and take Andrei to the hospital. But, one day wasn't enough. But, I had to go back to work to ensure that I was able to collect all the data that I need to do the report cards. I will start them this weekend, and hopefully have them all finished by next weekend.

Andrei had his nose snapped back and to place and is all better now. He has to have a cast on it for 10 days to ensure it heals properly. Otherwise he will have to go back and have it broken and fixed again.

Wednesday was my take the night off from everything. Here are some of the projects I made:

Bella Birthday Cards

Well, I made these this week as well. It is part of my scrap what is kicking around on my desk. (Strategy to clean up my scraproom as well as procrastinate from doing my work on my assignment.

I really like these Bella stamps. I don't own this one either. I received it also from a Bella Image Swap. I have a whole bunch of Bella's that I would like to put on my wish list. I missed the free shipping event. So, I guess I will have to wait until the company does another one!

Bella Christmas Card

Well, I am trying to clean my scraproom up. But, I feel like it is a lost cause, as I keep making projects that I have out on my desk. I feel that eventually I will run out of projects, and then my counter will be clean. But, in reality I think I am fighting a losing battle. I got a little christmasy tonight, and I made these four cards. They are all the same. I got the images from a Bella Image swap. I stamped some of my Bella's and traded them with a girl from the message board I enjoy visiting. Thanks for checking out the cards!

I have a Sty in my Little Eye...

Well, it has been an interesting weekend in terms of healing. I woke up Friday with a puffy eye. (no it wasn't part of my Halloween costume!)I had an irritated eye. So, I ended up going to the pharmacy and getting polysporin for the eye. It gave me relief but my eye was still very irritated. Saturday I woke up with a swollen and goopy eye. I went to the clinic and it was a quick diagnosis. However, the sty is so bad that I am on oral antibiodics and topical antibiodics. It has slowly become better, but it still needs work. My eye was all swollen and irritated again when I woke up this morning, so I took the day at home to heal.

I have spent the day doing odd jobs. I look forward to having a normal eye when I look in the mirror!
