Let's Get Crafty Episode # 9: Wild Card Cartriage and Baby Bug...Tweety Card and Envelope

This weekend was such a beautiful weekend. So with that, I didn't spend as much time in my scraproom. The beautiful sunshine enticed me outside for walks, a trip to the movies, and dinner out. It was a good time...that is for sure.

I did have an opportunity to make this video tutorial with the Wild Card Cartriage and the baby bug. I am very happy with the results. I do like the results despite not having the expression to make larger sizes. This is a fun cartriage to use even though I do not own an expression.

Thanks for joining me on my blog!

Let's Get Craft Episode # 8: Altered Birthday Box

I am enjoying my new camera that I got for Christmas. I continue to enjoy playing in my scraproom. It is great to have a space where I can pop in for a few minues, and then shut the door if it is too messy. Then come back and finsih the project.

I have made a few of these altered boxes in the past. But, thought it would be fun to create an online tutorial of it too!

Thanks for Watching!

Canadian Scrap and Swap Friends Book

I have been a member of the Canadian Scrap and Swap for at least four years. It could be longer even, I am not actually quite sure. Nonetheless, it is a place where I share the passion of my hobby with others who have the same passion and enjoy sharing and commenting on the various projects we all create. This past fall we decided that we would create an All About Me Page to share a little about ourselves. It is also a chance to showcase our scrapping style. It was a lovely surprise to receive all the 6x6 pages int th mail. I am sure it big job for Robin to swap out! Thank-you Robin. I have been looking for 6x6 page protectors. While, I was at Ms on on of my paruses. I came across 3 packags of 6x6 protectors, but there was no album. I decided to develop my own album cover. I had seen a tutorial a few years ago about making an album.I used my memory to develop this one. It has a bend in it so tht I could use a screw style binding. But, I don't know where to find those. So, for now I have used binder clips.

I am happy with the way it turned out. It was a lot of fun to make!

A Project Here and There!

Since I have this beautiful scraproom, and no wedding to plan. I am finding that I have the opportunity to take the odd hour here and there during the week to do some creating. I am totally loving this opportunity. I am very happy with some of the creations. I am currently in the process of making a cover from scratch for all of my online scrap friends pages. It is just about finished. Just waiting for a few of the embellishments to dry. Will try to post some pictures of this tomorrow if there is time. I also in the process of filming and editing another Let's Get Crafty Video. The theme of this one is an Altered Lunch Box Pail. I hope to have that uploaded by Sunday Night, so please stay tuned!

The projects up above were made for various coworkers. The tags were for my secret valentine. Although I suppose once I give them to her, she will figure out who her secret valentine was. Nonetheless, it was a fun little project to do!

Let's Get Crafty Episode # 7: Wild Card Cartriage and Baby Bug...Scalloped Card and Envelope

This weekend Andrei works today day shift and tomorrow nightshift. That left me with time to do homework, visit my sister, and time to make this cute scalloped card and envelope. This is the last Valentine project video for this year, but the first video in a series that looks at the Wild Card Cartriage and the baby bug.
