Summer Starts Now!

Well, I had my last day with my class on Thursday and my last day of work on Friday. I am all ready now for the summer! Andrei and I started it with a fantastic weekend. We went downtown on Friday to English Bay and had dinner at Milestones. We went Salsa Dancing, it was a lot of fun. I think by the end we actually looked like we knew what we were doing. We did some errands on Saturday, and had a delicious BBQ on Saturday night. I made the yummy margarita recipe from my Aunt. I hadn't used it in a while, but forgot how good it works and how yummy the drinks are. Today we watched the Euro Cup and then went Downtown to Vanier Park for Bard on the Beach Twelth Night. The productions was very good. It was a very plesant weekend. I took time off from homework, and it was great to start my sumer holiday this way. However, starting Monday it is back to homework. I have a paper to start. I must review a learning object. I did it this weekend, and I am looking foward to getting that assignment done. I have my scraproom to clean up AGAIN! But, once that is all done, I will be able to sit down more easily and create! So, looking forward to having time to scrapbook!

HAPPY SUMMER!

9 Days Left to Go!

Well, it is the end of June, and let me just say that it is a busy one like always. Only this year, I am working on my Master's at the same time! I have been using every minute to the fullest, and find myself some weeks still not having enough time.

As far as wedding plans go, I have set the Date: August 8 2009. We will have the Ceremony at Andrei's Church and the Reception at the Firefigher's Banquet Hall in Burnaby, by Metrotown. I have designed my own wedding invitations. I have purchased most of the supplies to make them, and plan on making them this summer. So, that should be fun to do. (I know most people are expecting them to be made by me, but I think I am getting a lot nicer invitation this way too! The colour that I have chosen is Lilac with a secondary colour of green. I think these go quite well together! But, that is about at far as I have gone for arrangementss. But, I still have really lots of time to get things going.

I haven't had to much time to do any scrapping. So, I don't have any pictures to post related to scrapping. But, I was able to make some invitations for my Oma's 90th Birthday. I went with a garden theme of Green's and Yellow, and made 50 of them with the help of my Uncle, Mom, and Dad. Yes, my Dad actually helped. He was quite the perfectionist, so I may have to recruit him for the Wedding Invitations.

Well, my scraproom is quite the disaster, so I better go and clean it up!

I can't wait till summer vacation!
