February Friendship Tea Party: A Success

My February Tea Party was a tremendous success! I had a lot of fun, and received wonderful comments as to how lovely it was! I know I always get carried away with these kind of things, but I thought this was a fabulous way to bring my eclectic group of friends together! A few were unable to attend due to work comittments, but I think I may make this a tradition for the future.  The first picture was the party favour that I made for everyone. It has a few little jelly beans, chocolate, and heart ju-jubes in there. I wrapped them all up with a clear plastic bag and then used that curly ribbon to decorate. For you crafters, I used the Joys of the Season Cartridge and the Tags, Bags, Boxes and More. Gale from the Happy Stamper gave me the idea for the doily shaped hearts. I used these for the wine glasses. The wine glasses were used for water. However, most of us just stuck with the tea! I used all of my good china and tea cups. Somehow tea just tastes better when it is in a Tea Cup! The roses on the table came from Costco, and I have heard things about the quality of the roses, but I am very pleased with them!

It was a wonderful afternoon, and I would love to host another one sometime!
