Bikram Yoga

Well, I have another addition to my Health and Mental Wellness activities. I have decided to try Heat Yoga. It is a realitively new thing, and is located close to me. We were chatting about it at work, and I thought that I would try it with another teacher that I work with.

It is a 90 minute session. You work through 26 stretching exercices twice in the time limit. The heat fluctuates between 30 and 40 degrees celcius. Let me tell yeah, it was VERY HOT in there. I was absoulutely soaked by the time I was finished. My towel was soaked. There were times throughout the class that I thought that I wasn't going to make it, but somehow I made it through. I drank lots of water afterwards, and all the tension that I have in my neck was gone, I was very relaxed when I got home and a nice cleansing shower worked to.

I have a week trial, and then will decide to continue it, but I am thinking at this point it will most likely be something that only do once a week.
