Fantabulous Cricut Challenge #92 – Warming Up with Hot Cocoa

I broke the current Valentine theme that I am working with right now to make this card for the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge. They have had a two week break so the design team could enjoy the Christmas holiday. I missed all the wonderful creations that are over there. However, they are back for another year of challenges. This week they are challenging us to use a cup or chocolate or even the color brown on your project. So, I chose to use a little bit of everything. The base is a five inch square. I cut the scallop from the Elegant edges Cricut cartrdige. I cut the circle from the George cartridge and then ran it through the Swiss dots cuttlebug folder. I cut the cups from the Joys of the Season Cartridge, and flipped the cut in my Gypsy. The coffee pot came from the Just Because Cards cartridge that I am currently borrowing from my friend Lisa. Fantabulous Cricut Challenge # 6 Winged Theme

I just had to go and check out the challenge this week at Fantabulous Cricut. I had so much fun competing in last week's challenge that I had to try this week's challenge as well. Anyone who knows me, will know how much I love butterflies and I can't miss out on creating a project using one. For this challenge project I used my DCWV 8x8 Glitter Stack. I was able to cut out this pillow box using this size with the Wedding Solutions Cartriage. A great size for some party treats. Then I cut the flower out using the paisley cartriage, and cut out the brown butterfly using Bazil Bling paper using the Indie art cartriage. On the bag I have stamped a circle stamp that says to and from. I have kept this really generic in terms of a sentiment because I could use it for many different occasions that way! Fantabulous Cricut Challenge # 22

Well, I haven't particpated in any challenges in awhile, as I have been busy with projects that didn't fit any of the themes of the different challenges that were going on. However, today I decided to finally start a page for my Bridal Shower Album. Yes a year later after the shower I am starting it. But, you know what...it feels great because I have no more homework hanging over my head guilting me away from my scraproom. This week the challenge was to create a project and included the word "Smile". I thought this title would work very well with my album. The Paper is from the Colorbok sweet blooms paper pack. I bought it especially to work on this album. Love all the pretty papers and how coordinated they are.
