Fantabulous Cricut Challenge # 22

Well, I haven't particpated in any challenges in awhile, as I have been busy with projects that didn't fit any of the themes of the different challenges that were going on. However, today I decided to finally start a page for my Bridal Shower Album. Yes a year later after the shower I am starting it. But, you know what...it feels great because I have no more homework hanging over my head guilting me away from my scraproom. This week the challenge was to create a project and included the word "Smile". I thought this title would work very well with my album. The Paper is from the Colorbok sweet blooms paper pack. I bought it especially to work on this album. Love all the pretty papers and how coordinated they are. Tea Cup Boxes with the Cricut

I am always looking for ways to get Crafty. I stumbled across a tea cup box while I was looking around. Of course the templates I found for a 3D tea cup were either labour intensive or I had to buy a special die cut like the Sizzix Tea cup die that is featured below here. However, I was determined to find something that I could create in my cricut. Even if it meant that I had to design it myself in the gypsy. However, I first thought I would do a google search to see if there was anything out there. Well, thankfully there was. I found this link to the 3D Tea Cup box on the old cricut message board. This cut file is part of a series of cut files that were developed as part of a Cricut Shape Boxes swap. Although, I didn't participate in this swap. Fantabulous Cricut Challenge # 7 Mom's Day

Over at Fantabulous Cricut this week they are hosting a Mother's Day challenge. Now that I am a wife and have a Mother in Law. I am lucky enough to make two Mother's Day Cads. My Mother in Law is Hungarian, so he word for Mom is Anyu! Having a Cricut and making my own card makes customizing cards in another language so easy! Just as long as you know how to spell them!
