Throwback Challenge: # 5: Celebrations Cartridge Birthday Card

I discovered this Cricut Challenge Blog called My Creative Time just recently. It has a fabulous premise! The challenges are throwbacks to your older Cricut cartridges! Which I think is a great way to get using those older cartrdidges that we have, and tend to forget about! The celebrations cartridge was one of the first original cartridges that I purchased. But, I am embarrassed to say that I have not used it as much as I have wanted too or expected too!

However, today I broke that and made two different cards with the cartridge. This card I am linking over to the My Creative time challenge! I had a look through the cartridge book, and came across the party hats. I was drawn to the polka dot one because I remembered having a Stamping Bella stamp that is quite similar to that. Sure enough I did have he stamp, and so I came up with this concept. I am very happy with how it turned out, it is a real girly card!
